"Fosdick" Golf Tourney

The Meadows Valley Benefit Golf Tournament, "The Fosdick" is offering scholarships to graduating senoirs at Meadows Valley High School, to a MV graduate attending college, or a non-traditional applicant who has previously graduated from MV or a GED program and is a Meadows Valley resident. "Art of Intention" Retreats April 12-15

A spring retreat titled "The Art of Intention: Create the Life You Want" will take place April 13-15 in Riggins at the Salmon Rapids Lodge. The retreat, sponsored by ReCreate McCall, will offer workshops focusing on three tools vital to practicing the art on intention: changing mental and emotional state, clarifying intention and taking inspired action. Soup & Salad Buffet Lunches

The Cascade Senior Citizens Center has begun a new soup and salad buffet lunch each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 2pm. In addition to salads, there will be hot breads, three kinds of hot soup and fruit bar. The all-you-can-eat meal costs $7 for adults age 18-60 and $6 for those under 18 and over 60. The public is invited, and the proceeds will help support the center's meals programs including Meals on Wheels. The center will also hold its Breakfast Brunch one Saturday per month from 9am to 1pm including scrambled eggs. sausage, bacon, jam, hashbrowns, buscuits, pancakes, french toast, mixed fruits, and biscuits and gravy. SnowCross Races draw 72 Entrants

A total of 72 snowmobile racers thriled fans recently at the American SnowCross Challenge snowmobile races held east of Lake Fork. Between 250 and 300 spectators came out to the specially designed race track to watch racers compete for a purse worth nearly $18,000. Racers and officials agreed the course was the best in this year's Mountain West Racing circuit with the best turnout for racers. The event was sponsored by the McCall Area Snowmobile Club. We look forward to next year's event, sure to be a winter winner!

McCall's Got Talent, March 9

"McCall's Got Talent," a showcase for McCall's local talent, will be presented at 7pm on Friday, March 9 at The North Fork Lodge. The talent show, the first for Jughandle Music Theatre, is open to all acts that are family friendly. Dress rehearsals will be March 8. To schedule an audition or for more information, call 634-1208 pr 634-8294. There is a $10 entry fee and cash and merchandise will be awarded as prizes.
