McCall Artist Connection
Western Mountain Lodge Staff
The purpose of this group is to provide quality art pieces to the community, contribute
to the support of local artists and develop a vibrant artist communty in the McCall area.
These 39 artists and supporters of the arts hold 2 art shows each year. They meet each month
with the next meeting Thursday June 28th at the ArtiZen Gallery on North 3rd in McCall. Call

Thunder Mountain Days
Western Mountain Lodge Staff
Honor all citizens in military service on July 4th at Cascades Thunder Mountain Days.
Start the day at the Masonic Lodge breakfast. There will be a food court and vendors all day.
The parade begins at 11:00 a.m and includes a flyover by the Idaho Air National Guard.

There's a barbecue at the American Legion Hall, live music at 7:00 p.m. in Van Wyck Park
then fireworks over Lake Cascade. Call 382-5621 for more information.

British Cars
Western Mountain Lodge Staff
Saturday, June 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the Idaho British Car Club will be
displaying cars from participants as far a way as Seattle and Reno.
This is part of their "6th annual "Summer Tour" at Tamarack Resort. The display
will be near the Discovery Square parking lot. Sunday's rally will finish at the
McCall Golf Course.

Regional Songs
Western Mountain Lodge Staff
Historically based songs of the Snake and Salmon river region will be performed Saturday
June 12th at Bistro 45 in McCall. Gary Eller recoeved a grant from the Idaho Humanities

Zipline Tour

Groups of 12 people are given safety instruction and handed a harness, a helmet, ropes, tethers and a pulley with 3 axles that can each hold 19,000 pounds. The high suspension canopy tour at Tamarack lasts 4 hours, covers 4,425 feet on ½ inch steel ropes 200 feet above the ground.
