Christmas In The Valley Bazaar
Western Mountain Lodge Staff
The Eighth Annual Christmas In The Valley Bazaar will take place December 1 in the New Meadows Senior Citizens Center. Hours for the bazaar are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, and lunch will be served by the seniors from noon to 2pm. There will be many locally made arts and crafts, as well as homemade goodies. So come by and see your friends while celebrating the joys of this holiday season. For more info call 208-347-2363.

Festival of Trees

The 9th Annual Festival of Trees sponsored by the Friends of McCall Library, will be held at McCall Golf Course Clubhouse during Thanksgiving week. Admission is free, and more than 40 artificial lighted trees are expected to be donated for the four-day event from Wednesday, November 21 through Saturday November 24. Tree sizes vary from table-top sizes to more than six feet. A special treat will be performances by local musicians, including the McCall Community Children's Choir under the direction of Tyler Vance. Attendees may also purchase food and beverages at the clubhouse, vote for their favorite tree in the "People's Choice Awards," and purchase raffle tickets to win a centerpiece. Wreaths and decor items will be for sale and all the trees will be sold in a silent auction. For more info call 208- 634-7200.

Marine Corps Birthday Dinner

U.S. Marines and friends are invited to celebrate the 232nd birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps on Saturday, November 10. The brithday celebration and dinner will begin at 6pm Nov. 10 at the North Fork Lodge. Cost is $25 per person, and tickets are on sale at Hinson Power Sports. For more info call 208-315-1081.
